About Thorium One Power
Thorium One Power is a development-stage energy infrastructure company. It develops behind-the-meter power and cooling-water campuses for gigawatt-scale AI data centers, with its first campus targeted in the Permian Basin of West Texas.
What the company does
Thorium One Power sells two things together, to one customer, behind one fence line: firm 24/7 electricity under a power purchase agreement, and distillate-quality cooling water under a take-or-pay water service agreement. The two contracts mirror each other, so a data center campus contracts its power and its cooling from a single accountable counterparty rather than assembling them separately.
The campus design pairs a 1.1 GW bridge fleet of natural gas generation with storage, targeting first power in 2028, with a molten-salt nuclear phase-in planned from 2033 that displaces gas on a published schedule. Cooling water — 10.4 million gallons per day at under 50 mg/L total dissolved solids — is produced by desalinating recycled oilfield produced water using the power island's own waste heat, so the campus withdraws zero freshwater.

What the name does and does not mean
This distinction matters commercially, not just semantically. An offtaker contracting with Thorium One Power is buying delivered megawatts and delivered gallons on dated obligations backed by liquidated damages — not exposure to a reactor development programme. Stage and what exists today
Thorium One Power is pre-FID and development-stage. The indicative schedule places capacity reservation and letters of intent in 2026, final investment decision and execution of the mirrored power and water agreements in 2027, and first power and first water in 2028–30, with the molten-salt nuclear phase-in following from 2033. Capacity for the first campus is being anchored around one or two counterparties.
